5 Tips for Using Loose Powder Eyeshadows and a Bare Minerals *GIVEAWAY*

You Must Comment below to enter to win!!!!!!!

1. PRIME!!
Always, always, always prime!! I always prime my eyes for any shadow, but you especially want to use primer when using loose powder. It will help the powder to stay on the eye and helps the pigments in the eye shadows as well as helping the look to last.

2. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!
Barely tap your brush into the shadows. If you get too much, it will start falling off onto your face and you end up wasting more product than you are using. You can always build if the color isn’t strong enough when you first apply it.

3. SETTING SPRAY!!!!

I find that the pigments in the loose powder eye shadows are not as bright as the pigments in pressed shadows. So, spray your brush with setting spray before tapping your brush into the powder and it will help it stick to your brush and really pop the color!!

4. TAP IT ON, DON’T RUB!!!
tap your brush onto your eye to help the powder stick to the primer on your lid.

5. DO YOUR EYES FIRST!!!
I always do my eyes first and my face makeup after my eyes are done, but I really recommend doing that when you are using loose powder eye shadows. You are more likely to get the powder on your face when dealing with loose powder as opposed to pressed.

So that someone gets the chance to try these great eye shadows from Bare Minerals, I am doing a GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

This is what you get!!!
The small pot is the color steel – it is kind of brownish gray and is more of a liner color.

Ginger Sugar is also a nude shimmer, but a little darker than Phyllis.
